Photo Organizing Quick Tip: Digital Picture Files for Photo Books
Making a photo book for your parent’s 50th wedding anniversary or your sister’s upcoming milestone birthday? Or even for a not-so-special occasion? No matter what the topic of the photo book is, the recipient will surely treasure it.
A quick way to add the digital files to your latest photo book. #photosClick To TweetBut what about the photos in the book? What if the recipient wants to use that great shot of the entire family as their computer wallpaper or to use all the photos as their screen saver? Use this quick value-add tip to make the gift even better. Burn all the digital photo files you used to create the book onto a CD or a USB and attach it to the back of the book. (If your computer no longer has a CD/DVD player, you can buy an external one.)
Quality CD/DVDs and storage sleeves are inexpensive and by providing the digital photo files along with the photo book, you can make the gift even more special. I also have a printer that will print the name and a few photos on the CD/DVD surface for that special finishing touch, but you don’t have to get that fancy.
You can even do this with your own photo books from vacations and family yearbooks.
